Color Coding

As part of a joint math and art project, every student at Graland has created a color code stick.  Using a code where a different color corresponds to each letter of the alphabet, in art the students painted circles to represent the letters in their name.
In class this week, we estimated how many vowels and consonants we had in our first names as well as the most and least common letters.  We used the data on our color code sticks to figure out how close we were.
On May 15th and 16th, the entire school will create an outdoor display of color code sticks on Priesser Field.
